A lapel microphone (also called a lavalier microphone) is one of the best ways to record a person's voice. Unlike a handheld or stationary microphone, it's small and inconspicuous, and doesn't interfere with the person's movements or obscure their face. And unlike an overhead boom microphone, it doesn't require a professional operator. If the microphone is connected to a smartphone or digital sound recorder in the person's pocket, they can have complete freedom of movement; everything they say will be perfectly recorded as they go about any activity.

The Foxnovo lapel microphone is a professional-quality condenser microphone with excellent frequency response and sensitivity. It's omnidirectional, so you don't have to worry about pointing it towards the wearer's face. Just clip it to their clothing (lapel, collar, necktie, etc.) with the included clip and you're ready to record. Also includ two adapters: a TRS 3.5mm plug and a mini USB plug. The TRS plug will work with the "microphone" jack found on most computers and many other devices, while the mini USB plug is compatible with GoPro Hero 2, 3, 3+, 4, and other devices.

Note: Using this microphone with an iPhone 7 or later, GoPro Hero 5, and some other devices will require additional adaptors, not included.
